An Egyptian actor best known as Fata al Shasha al Asmar.
He was one of the most influential actors that have appeared on television in Egypt and the Arab region. He rose to fame after portraying characters from the poor class.
His full name is Zaki Motwali Abdul Rahman. His first official role was in the famous play Madrasat al Moshaghibeen, and was as a result known by fans as the weak student he portrayed in the play Ahmad al Shair.
He took on the lead role in more than 60 movies such as: Shafiq al Motwali, al Batiniya, Iskandaria Leih, Mawaid ala al Asha', Ouin La Tanam, Tair ala al Tareeq, al Prince, Saad al Yateem, Shadr al Samak, al Beih al Bawab, Araba'ah fi Mohima Rasmiya, Zawjat Rajol Mohim, Didh al Hokomah, al Rai' wa al Nisa', Mister Karateh, Estakoza, Abu al Zahab, al Batal, Edhak al Soura Helwa, Ard al Khowf, Ma'ali al Wazir, al Ayam, Nasser 56, Ayam al Sadat, and Halim.
He was married to actress Hala Fuad and has a son, Haitham Ahmad Zaki, who is also an actor.
