Is Katie Holmes taking the stage on So You Think You Can Dance?

Reps for the FOX show will neither confirm nor deny that Holmes will strut her stuff this season in a Broadway number choreographed by SYTYCD judge Tyce Diorio, who is known for his colorful and difficult numbers.

But one thing is for sure: Holmes has met with the show’s executive producer Nigel Lythgoe on more than one occasion. “They had a couple meetings,” Lythgoe’s rep tells PEOPLE. “He meets with people all the time.”

The rep also notes that Holmes uses the facilities at the CBS studios where the show is taped to rehearse when she’s in town.

“She’s on Broadway,” the rep adds, “so she dances.”

Holmes, who appeared in the Broadway revival of Arthur Miller’s All My Sons, was recently photographed at the studios in Los Angeles, clad in dance gear.

Her husband Tom Cruise and their daughter Suri, 3, were also recently spotted at the studios.
